Rugby: Guest Speaker

A snapshot of today's lecture:)

(Left)Ronald, Bazli, Mr Song Koon Poh, Me, Natahar Bava and Diana (Right)

Mr Song started his speech by telling us that as teachers, we serve as a guiding light to our students. This phrase connected to me straight away. He shared with us his experience, from being very successful as a captain to his greatest fall (banned from rugby).

As sportsman, we learn the values from the sport and bring them into our lives. We play the game because we love the game and definitely not for money. That's when we learn to be a better person.

It was with great honour to have stand in the same photo with Mr Song, Singapore's Sportsman of the Year (1978).

Not forgetting our coach/instructor, Natahar Bava, Coach of the Year, who has taught us rugby and life skills. Looking forward to his lessons every week!

Kudos!
