At first, I have reservations about this programme as it was held during the weekends. However, after going through this programme, I would classify it as 'a highly encouraged' programme for the coming NIE teachers.
Through Meranti Project, it has thought me how to be appreciative towards others' actions. During the programme, we were made to express our thanks and gratitude to everyone present for what they have done (for the project) and shared. Such 'thanking' moments was hardly done in today's context as we were brought up in a conservative environment (typical Asian country). I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to everyone in the group for all their support and encouragement. The bonds that we created during those 2 days were so much stronger as we reflected and bared our hearts out to each other. I would also like to thank Perry (our facilitator) for teaching us on how to relate to our pupils through our 'life journey'.
♥ ♥ May this experience bring us further and deeper in helping the children to be the best that they can be! And in the midst of our business, we should not forget to relate to them heart to heart! ♥
